Submersible Jet aerators are highly energy efficient aerators with higher rate of transfer of oxygen / H.P. They are dependent on the air intake rate, which varies as per the motor submergence. At normal submergence of 0.70m, the air intake capacity (for a 5 H.P. Aerator) is about 80 m3/ hr. Their release in form of micronized bubbles imparts about 210-215 Kg oxygen / day under normal ETP conditions.
This air is released in the highly turbulent zone, causing micronization of air bubbles. This activity results in very high oxygen transfer rates. The stormix aerators are thus the most energy saving aeration devices.
They generate about 40-45 kgs of oxygen per H.P in comparison to Blower which generates 20-22 kgs of oxygen per H.P

Floating media can be utilized in new or old bio reactors and enhance performance. Once the media is placed inside a bio reactor and set in proper operation, you have a complete stable, clog free bio film reactor. Microorganisms, which are attached to the floating media reduce the organic load. This is a fixed film process where the floating media become carriers that build a floating bed in the water and stabilize WWTP.
